Interactive Dog's Tasty Liver Treat Recipe for Dogs
Get ready because your dog will go crazy for this tasty treat
- 1 Pound Pork Liver (or beef or calves liver)
- Parchment Paper
- Baking Sheet
Cut the liver into 1/4 inch slices and lay them on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 1 hour and then turn over and bake for an additional 1 hour.
Let the liver cool for about 20 minutes in the fridge and then cut into pieces and freeze in a re-sealable container.
You can store the liver in your freezer for about a month. To defrost the liver put it in a re-sealable container and put it in the fridge overnight.
Keep the liver refrigerated and use up to 5 days after defrosting.
This is a special treat for the dog and I use it when working with a new dog or when a dog is learning a new command.
Dogs love this treat and a limited amount of liver is good for them but too much liver is not.
If the smell of the liver or texture changes just throw it out, it's so cheap to make that it's not worth taking a chance.
